<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake device for controlling a flow of intake air by opening/closing a flap valve which is disposed in the middle of an intake passage of an engine, reducing cost of a whole device, and generating a stable flow of gas without disturbing the intake air flow. <P>SOLUTION: A partition wall 18 for defining the intake passage is joined to an inner face of an intake port 6 formed in a cylinder head 3 of the engine, the flap valve 19 for controlling the intake air flow by its opening/closing operation is attached to the inside of an intake manifold 11 connected with the cylinder head 3. The flap valve 19 is housed on a housing part 11b in closing operation when it is rotated in an arrow B direction, and its tip part 19a is housed in the intake manifold 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
