摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a beacon light 11 which can prevent a heat sensitive switch ST from malfunctioning. <P>SOLUTION: A light source 22 and a cutout device 23 are connected to a power supply means 24 in parallel and placed in a light body 12. The cutout device 23 has a bi-directional thyristor Q1, a responding control circuit, and the heat sensitive switch ST. The responding control circuit forces the bi-directional thyristor Q1 into conduction when the light source 22 is not lit. The heat sensitive switch ST conducts when a temperature of the bi-directional thyristor Q1 is higher than a specified temperature. Heat insulators 34 and a heat insulation layer 35 are set between the light source 22 and the cutout device 23 to thermally isolate the heat sensitive switch ST from the light source 22. This reduces thermal effect from the light source 22 to the heat sensitive switch ST and prevents the heat sensitive switch ST from malfunctioning. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
