<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile head lamp equipped with a shade the cost of which can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: A reflector is composed of: a main reflector 4 which is a stationary type and by which a prescribed light distribution pattern is obtained; and sub-reflectors 5, 10 which are raised on the right and left sides of the main reflector 4 while having an optical axis ZL-ZR and by which a diffusion type light distribution pattern is obtained on the right and left side of the above light distribution pattern. A light source 8 is disposed on the optical axis ZL-ZR and its prescribed portion is surrounded by a shade 13 stretched out from the main reflector 4 and bridged between the sub-reflectors 5, 10 so that no glare light comes out. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
