<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell advantageous to improving distribution property of a reaction fluid such as fuel and oxidation gas. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell comprises: a membrane electrode assembly 1 having a fuel electrode 11 and an oxidant electrode 12 which clamp a film 10; a first flow distribution panel facing the fuel electrode 11 of the membrane electrode assembly 1 and supplying fuel to the fuel electrode 11; and a second flow distribution panel facing the oxidant electrode 12 of the membrane electrode assembly 1 and supplying an oxidizer fluid to the oxidant electrode 12. Either or both of the first flow distribution panel and the second flow distribution panel has an inlet 24, an outlet 25 and a circular flow passage 26 connecting the inlet 24 and the outlet 25.
