<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite-function printer capable of improving a quality of send data to which trimming processing is applied, in printing. <P>SOLUTION: In a send function for converting a paper document into a document format of a PDF or the like and then transmitting the document to other device, there is included a function for automatically selecting a greater read resolution so as to accomplish the printing resolution approximately equal with a user designated send resolution even if a trimming object is printed while being magnified unexpectedly for a recipient differently from the intention of a sender in printing only when trimming is applied to a transmission object of the document. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
