<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be able to quickly attach marks to pipes or wires. <P>SOLUTION: A tubular article made of a synthetic resin or the like and having a small diameter and length suitable for a worker to handle it with one hand. It is axially cut open and has an attaching means which the worker grasps to attach the tubular article to a pipe or wire after fitting it onto the pipe or wire. A mark section is formed on the surface of the tubular article with a reflexive reflection sheet and the like.
