PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a server application on a local terminal to control access from client applications on a remote terminal. SOLUTION: The server application 40 operating on the local terminal 20 delivers to a certificate authenticating part 70 remote terminal certificates received from the client applications 30<SB>0</SB>-30<SB>m</SB>operating on the remote terminal 10 and an application certificate. The certificate authenticating part 70 authenticates the two certificates and delivers the results of the authentication to the server application 40 according to an authentication result set database 80. The server application 40 operates to obtain according to the results of the authentication obtained from the certificate authenticating part 70 a set of execution requests permitted to the client applications 30<SB>0</SB>-30<SB>m</SB>permitted from an access permission database 90, and controls access from the client applications 30<SB>0</SB>-30<SB>m</SB>using the set.
