PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display with improved display quality reducing erroneous discharge of a display area end part. SOLUTION: The component for a plasma display includes at least a partition wall and an auxiliary partition wall formed in a perpendicular direction to the partition wall on a substrate. At least an auxiliary partition wall of the top end and/or the lowest end in a substrate longitudinal direction is shorter than an orthogonal partition wall height and its level difference is 4 to 60μm.
