PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacture for a passive matrix organic light emitting diode display. SOLUTION: A first wire matrix 42 and a pair of first wire blocks provided on both side edges of a substrate 40 which are in parallel to the first wire matrix 42 are formed on the substrate 40. The first wire matrix 42 contains a plurality of first wires 422. An organic layer 46 is formed on top of the first wire matrix 42. A second wire matrix containing a plurality of second wires 482 are formed on the organic layer 46. Each of the second wires 482 of the second wire matrix are perpendicular to the first wires 422. Furthermore, each of the second wires 482 are connected to the first wire block. A plurality of laser beams are made to scan a direction which is in parallel to the second wires 482.
