PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of breakage caused by a damage existing in an inner peripheral end surface of a magnetic disk having a hole in its center. SOLUTION: In the glass substrate for the magnetic disk with a rotational shaft, the rotational shaft 2 used for a magnetic disk device is stuck to a glass circular plate 1, the diameter of the rotational shaft 2 is≤5 mm or≤20% of the diameter of the glass circular plate 1, and the rotational shaft 2 and the glass circular plate 1 are stuck to each other by solder. In the manufacturing method of the glass substrate for the magnetic disk with the rotational shaft, the rotational axis 2 used for the magnetic disk and the glass circular plate 1 are stuck to each other by a solder, wherein the rotational shaft 2 and the glass circular plate 1 are stuck to each other by a supersonic soldering method.
