PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printed circuit board design support system and program, avoiding waste in taking out a unit printed circuit board from a printed circuit board material of a regular size, and allowing a designer of the printed circuit board to generally examine the design of the printed circuit board, taking into consideration the quality and cost including a post-process (manufacture of a board and PCB production process). SOLUTION: Concerning the printed circuit board single body, the shape and size to be taken out from the printed circuit board material of a regular size without waste in an optimum fashion are predetermined, standardized and registered as two or more. The designer selects and uses the standard printed circuit board satisfying the design specifications from the registered standard printed circuit boards, and the information on each standardized printed circuit board, such as design specifications (sheet outline, number of layers, VIA diameter, packaging capacity), board material supplier, unit price, and quality is registered, corresponding to the boards (a storage device 3: PCB table 3a and a library information table 3b). The design specifications input by the designer are taken as conditions, and the registered contents are referred to in a processing part 4, to specify the standard printed circuit board satisfying the conditions (design specifications), and to display a list on a display device 1.
