PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide rotation angle detection device used mainly for rotation angle detection of an automobile steering or the like, having no error, and capable of highly accurate detection of a rotation angle. SOLUTION: A spring 15 as an energization means for pressing the first detection body 3 onto a rotator 1 is provided, and a plurality of projection parts 12B on which a slide contact part 1C inserted into a through hole 12A of a case 12 abuts are formed. Hereby, the slide contact part 1C of the pressed and energized rotator 1 is rotated always in the elastic contact state with the plurality of projection parts 12B, and the rotator 1 is rotated without eccentricity.
