PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine distributions of magnetic properties of a magnetic body as accurately as possible. SOLUTION: A sample 120 is divided into a plurality of regions 120a-120r of which distributions of flux density and magnetic fields can be considered uniform. Each core loss in the plurality of regions 120a-120r is determined through the use of a local magnetic sensor 113. By determining distributions of core losses of the sample 120 through the use of the determined core losses in the plurality of regions 129a-120r, it is possible to determine distributions of core losses of the sample 120 with distributions of flux density and magnetic fields in a uniform state. Then it is possible to remove the effects of distributions of flux density and magnetic fields as much as possible at the determination of the distributions of core losses of the sample 120.
