PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method of a heat exchanger capable of extending a service life of the heat exchanger by reversing a core in repairing the heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In relation to this repairing method of a heat exchanger 2 heat-exchanging between an exhaust gas EG of a gas turbine and compressed air A, the heat exchanger 2 has a nearly parallelepiped rectangular shape and has an inlet 20 and an outlet 21 for the exhaust gas EG on the front and back surfaces thereof, and an inlet 30 and an outlet 31 for the compressed air A on both left and right side faces; and the heat exchanger 2 is reused by turning it at 180°around the fore and aft axis X and the vertical axis Y in repairing it.
