PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe expansion type lock bolt for connection reduced in weight and manufacturable at low cost by weld-connecting a female screw plug part to its rear end and a male screw plug part to its tip side. SOLUTION: In this lock bolt, the female screw plug part or the male screw plug part is fitted to the rear end opening part of the lock bolt joined to the inside of a deformed pipe formed by pressing the lower wall or side wall of the pipe end part of the pipe end recessed part of the deformed pipe 51 in which a recessed part for expansion is formed against the inner wall of the deformed pipe, and the fitting part is welded together with the inner wall pressing part. A subsequent lock bolt to which a male screw plug part or a female screw plug part is fittedly fixed at its tip is welded to the lock bolt by screwing both female and male screw parts with each other. A pressurizing fluid is fed to a forehand lock bolt via a through hole in the plug part to simultaneously pressurize the plurality of lock bolts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
