PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial plant excellent in preservability because of causing no volatilization or deterioration of flavor liquid even when preserved for a long time, excellent in usability because the volatile components of the flavor liquid is rapidly emitted only through a simple operation to give out aromatic odor circumferentially when in use and having no such impression as to be an artificial flower, creating gorgeous atomosphere because of emitting the aromatic odor from the inner part of its petals, and thereby usable as substitute for a real flower. SOLUTION: The artificial plant comprises: a hollow container-attaching part 5 flexible and set or formed at a shoot apex 3; a flexible hollow container 7 provided with a container opening part 8 at at least one part thereof, and attached to the hollow container-attaching part 5; a break-sensitive thin-walled sealed container 10 in the inside of which aroma liquid 11 is encapsulated, and which is housed in the hollow container 7; and petals 13 arranged at the periphery of the hollow container-attaching part 5.
