PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the calculation volume required for creating a computer tomographic image of a heart. SOLUTION: In this method of creating a computer tomographic image of a pulsating heart of a patient and a computer tomographic apparatus, volume data set is reconfigured voxel by voxel from previously given cardiac cycle tense. First a number of partial reconfigurations is calculated voxel by voxel from small cardiac cycle tense section corresponding to a projection segment remarkably smaller than 180°, and subsequently at every cardiac cycle tense to be observed, complete voxel data including at least 180°as the whole and derived from one previously selected cardiac cycle tense is accumulated from pool of in completely reconfigured voxel data.
