An assembly separates a mixture of oil and emulsion arising from a machining process. The assembly has a collector tank (12) with a filter (13) and one or more motor (36) driven rotating disks (20) with curved radial surface grooves (21). Oil collected on the surface of the rotating disk is lifted by a wiper blade (29) from which it drains through a channel (31) to a collector (23) tank also holding water. The separated oil floats on the water surface and is discharged via an outlet (28).
