METHOD FOR FORMING BITMAP CHARACTER BY SCALING BITMAP BIT STROKE DATA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve memory capacity insufficiency, the delay of a display speed and the degradation of small character display quality in the case of loading characters on information equipment.

SOLUTION: This method for forming bitmap characters by scaling stroke data includes the steps of: (a) preparing a bitmap stroke data collection including two or more pieces of stroke data; (b) taking out bitmap stroke data from the stroke data collection; (c) changing the size of the stroke data taken out in the step (b); and (d) combining the stroke data whose size is changed as the bitmap characters or the like.
