<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain hose having a protective member having both a protective function and a display function; and to provide an air conditioner provided with the drain hose. <P>SOLUTION: The protective member 9 for protecting a drain hose heat insulation material 8a is mounted in the vicinity of a connection opening of the drain hose 8 connected to an indoor unit 1; and the protective member 9 is provided with a display function with precautions for installation work and the like described thereon to prevent occurrence of trouble such as generation of a flaw, a crack or the like on a surface of the drain hose heat insulation material 8a during the installation work of the indoor unit 1, and to allow the installation work to be smoothly carried out by using the description of the precautions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
