<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism capable of preventing the floating of a development unit caused by rotary drive force and positioning a drive plate simultaneously in an image forming apparatus in which a development sleeve and a photoreceptor drum in a drum unit including the photoreceptor drum and the development unit including the development sleeve are spaced by spacing members provided on both sides in the axial direction of the development sleeve and drive force is transmitted from the drive plate provided with a motor and a gear group to the drum unit and the development unit. <P>SOLUTION: A positioning pin fixed to the drive plate or a gear shaft for rotatably holding one gear is projected through the base frame side wall of the image forming apparatus and brought into contact with a projection part peak part projectingly provided on the side part of the development unit, and the positioning of the loading position and the floating of the development unit are regulated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
