<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print system and a program capable of performing printing after properly changing print setting when an intermediate file is printed by a printer different from a printer used in creating the intermediate file. <P>SOLUTION: In this print system, a printer driver 20a creates the EMF (intermediate file) 30 when a user A instructs the printing from an application with print setting designatable in a printer 10a. The user A hands over the EMF 30 to a user B. When the user B receiving the EMF instructs the printing of the EMF 30 to the printer driver 20b, the printer driver 20b inquires the designatable print setting to a printer 10b by a bidirectional communication means, acquires response, and performs the display for encouraging the user B to change the print setting when the print setting read out from the EMF 30 is undesignatable, thus the printing is performed by the printer 10b in accordance with the changed print setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
