<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting an air-fuel ratio sensor abnormality capable of performing abnormality detection of the air-fuel ratio sensor accurately in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: The device has a configuration having the A/F sensor 5 for detecting an oxygen concentration in exhaust gas from an engine 2, and an EEC 11 for determining an abnormality of the A/F sensor 5 by comparing a sensor voltage outputted from the A/F sensor 5 and a waveform period taken by the sensor voltage with each reference value. Consequently, the abnormality of the sensor can be determined in a short time. Since the reference value corresponding to the traveling state of a vehicle is prepared beforehand and a measured value is compared therewith, the sensor voltage whose abnormality can be determined has no restriction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
