<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for estimating the status of a river system at normal times and at flooding, in real time. <P>SOLUTION: A status-estimating device 15 of a river system is provided with an ARMA mode(for example, ARMA(2, 1)) expressing the status (for example, the water level, flow rate, flow rate fluctuation or bridge pier stability) of a river system 4 as the object of estimation at normal times and flood, and observes predetermined physical quantity by a sensor 8 in normal times and flood of the river system 4, and calculates by an ARMA model from a signal s observed by the sensor 8, and estimates the status of the river system 4 in a normal time and flood from the AR parameter of the ARMA model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
