PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor element 6 equipped with a chip body 2 constituted by preliminarily adding impurity constituted of sintering suppressing substances to metallic powder for valve action, and fixing and sintering the powder in porous holes and an anode wire 1 made of metal for valve action whose one end is buried in the chip body, wherein the chip body is formed with a solid electrolytic layer 4 by using a dielectric film 3 formed on the surface of the powder as a base, and a cathode film 5 is formed so as to be overlapped on the solid electrolytic layer, and to improve strength in the root section of the anode wire for the chip body. SOLUTION: In the capacitor element in a solid electrolytic capacitor, an anode wire can be made of metal for valve action containing impurity constituted of sintering suppressing substances.
