PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake prediction information providing system for notifying information terminal equipment such as a portable telephone or a personal computer of earthquake prediction information in the observation stage of a P wave before an S wave reaches with character information. SOLUTION: The earthquake prediction information of the predicted seismic center or predicted seismic intensity of the occurrence of earthquake announced by Meteorological Agency or Japan Weather Association is received by an earthquake prediction information distributing company. This earthquake prediction information providing system is provided with an earthquake prediction information distributing means for specifying the highest priority distribution region from the predicted seismic center information, and for specifying the next distribution region and distribution order in a peripheral region from the predicted seismic intensity information, and for successively transmitting the earthquake prediction information to the information terminal equipment of an earthquake prediction information distribution contractor on the basis of the information with a specific calling number for earthquake prediction information distribution, and an earthquake prediction information display means for referring to an earthquake warning message database stored in the memory of the information terminal equipment from the number information of the specific calling number in the information terminal equipment, and for displaying the earthquake warning message as character information on the display of the information terminal equipment.
