PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To promote an effective searching such as POI (point of interest), and to inform a user of preferable spot information quickly. SOLUTION: The spot searching device for searching the spot information data base in which the spot information is managed for every regional area, formed in a form for searching the spot information in a region unit based on the inputted own positional information and regional boundary information and regional boundary information obtained from the map information, the searching objective area is selected. From the spot information data base, the spot information is searched by selecting only one or a plurality of areas as the searching objective area, and the searched results are displayed.
