PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof structure which can certainly secure a waterproofness of an instrument case made by fitting up two case members and which has a good assembling workability. SOLUTION: In the waterproof structure of the instrument case 2 made by fitting up a first case member 21 and a second case member 22 via a ring-like packing member 7, a first projection 71 to be abutted against the inner peripheral surface of the first case member 21 and a second projection 72 to be abutted against the inner peripheral surface of the second case member 22 are formed in the outer peripheral surface of the packing member 7. The first case member 21 is formed with a concave portion 23 into which the first projection 71 side of the packing member 7 is to be press fit, and the second case member 22 is formed with a concave portion 24 into which the second projection 72 side of the packing member 7 is to be press fit.
