PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a threshing apparatus securing the dropping performance of a threshed product well by smoothly conveying the foot part of grain culms on a steel plate mesh and also dropping the threshed product via the steel plate mesh. SOLUTION: The threshing apparatus is equipped with a threshing cylinder with many threshing teeth projecting on the outer circumferential surface and the receiving mesh body stretched along the circumferential surface of the threshing cylinder at a position under the threshing cylinder. This threshing apparatus works as follows: Grain culms are inserted into the space between the receiving mesh body and the outer circumferential surface of the threshing cylinder, threshed by the threshing teeth of the threshing cylinder revolving axially while conveying the grain culms toward the axis of the threshing cylinder, and passing the threshed crops via the meshes of the receiving mesh body, wherein the receiving mesh body includes a crimped mesh constituting the half of one side receiving the ear tip side of the grain culms and the steel plate mesh constituting the half of the other side receiving the foot part side of the grain culms.
