<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facial collation system which can attempt to perform, in a short time, person-specifying processing in which a person is specified by collating a plurality of face image data registered beforehand, with facial image data obtained by photographing. <P>SOLUTION: The facial collation system includes a registration means which registers a plurality of personal information, including face image data and belonging area data; a photographing means which photographs face images; and a collation means which preferentially selects personal information, including belonging area data that corresponds to prescribed condition, based on installation area data of the photographic means and collates photographed face image data, obtained by photographing of the photographing means with face image data contained in the selected personal information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
