POLYURETHANE FOAMED BODY HAVING FINE FOAM, ITS SHEET, POLISHING PAD AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF POLYURETHANE FOAMED BODY HAVING FINE FOAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyurethane foamed body having fine foams which has foams (pores) uniformly dispersed therein and which is producible stably and to provide a polishing pad using the above foamed body which is excellent in polishing characteristics.

SOLUTION: The polyurethane foamed body having fine foams is composed of a first component containing an isocyanate group-containing compound and a second component containing an active hydrogen-containing compound, wherein the isocyanate group-containing compound satisfies the following conditions: 0.40 Pa s≤η80≤2.80 Pa s and Ea≤80 kJ/mol (wherein η80is melt viscosity at 80°C and Ea is an activation energy). The polishing pad is obtained by pasting an underlayer on the rear face of the polyurethane sheet for the polishing pad. Thus, it is possible to obtain the polyurethane foamed body having fine foams, excellent in stability on production and to obtain the polishing pad having the excellent polishing characteristics.
