<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress generation of noises from a gear mechanism, such as a transmission connected to an electric motor, and to output the torque which should be output to an axle. <P>SOLUTION: A hybrid vehicle sets a target rotation speed Ne*, a target torque Te*, and torque commands Tm1*, Tm2* of two motors, by using a required torque Tr* required by a drive shaft using as constraints for efficient operation of engine, so that when the torque output from the motor connected through the gear mechanism becomes approximately a value "0", the hybrid vehicle resets a torque Tset somewhat at distant from near the value "0", on the basis of the sign to the torque command Tm2*, and resets the target torque Te* of an engine and the torque command Tm1* of the other motor so as to output the required torque Tr* to the drive shaft (S180 to S240). Thus, generation of noise from the gear mechanism can be avoided, due to the torque output from the motor connected through the gear mechanism approaching the value "0". <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
