<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact light emitting device capable of efficiently performing irradiation with light emitted from a plurality of light sources so that prescribed light emitting property can be obtained. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device 2 is provided with an optical member 5 including a 1st reflection surface 5e for reflecting the light which is made incident from a 1st light source 4a, a 2nd reflection surface 5f for reflecting the light which is made incident from a 2nd light source 4b and an emitting part 5b for emitting the light reflected by the 1st and 2nd reflection surfaces.
