<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information presentation device capable of easily presenting a text which is hard to read in a displayed document even in environments such as one without a direct command input means or one with a small screen display, and with which the contents can be heard by speech. <P>SOLUTION: The information presentation device estimates a text block according to a display state on the screen that a user might want to demand to be read out in speech due to difficulty in reading, and provides a simple selecting means for the text block. A hard-to-read block extraction part 108 divides the text displayed on the screen into each block, and determines a block including characters with sizes of a predetermined threshold value or less on the screen as a hard-to-read block and numbers them. The document display part 110 displays each hard-to-read block region separately from other regions, and displays the block number for each region.
