PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid external stress which has harmful effects on the characteristic of a piezoelectric vibration. SOLUTION: A crystal vibrator 1 comprises a crystal vibration piece 2, a base 3 for holding the crystal vibration piece 2, a cap 4 for sealing the crystal vibration piece 2 held by the base 3 in the state of airtight, and a support member 5 for reducing the external stress to the crystal vibration piece 2. In the crystal vibrator 1, the base 3 and the cap 4 are connected to constitute a casing, the crystal vibration piece 2 is held through the support member 5 on the base 3 inside of the casing, and inside of the casing is sealed in the state of airtight. The support member 5 is a Z plate consisting of a crystal piece being brittle material, and consists of connection parts 511 and 512 for the crystal vibration piece for connecting with the crystal vibration piece 2, connection parts 521 and 522 for the base for connecting with the base 3, and a spring part 53 for reducing the external stress.
