PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide tertiary amines useful as catalysts for preparing polyurethane foams. SOLUTION: The tertiary amines are used for reactions for trimerizing isocyanates and for the reactions of isocyanates with active hydrogen-containing compounds, such as polyols and/or foaming agents.
