PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loudspeaker apparatus capable of quickly and effectively suppressing howling while maintaining the sound quality of sound as a loudspeaking object. SOLUTION: The loudspeaker apparatus 1 is provided with a loudspeaking section 5 wherein a speaker 3 and a microphone 2 are connected and an input sound signal picked up by the microphone 2 is loudly spoken and fed to the speaker 3; a simulation signal generator 7 for generating a simulation signal for simulating a feedback sound fed back from the speaker 3 to the microphone 2; and a subtractor 74 for generating a residual signal resulting from subtracting the simulation signal generated by the simulation signal generator 7 from the input sound signal from the microphone 2, and providing an output to the loudspeaking section 5. Further, the apparatus includes a howling frequency detector 6 that detects a frequency of a howling sound component included in the input sound signal from the microphone 2, and a band limit 71 for placing a limit on frequencies of the simulation signal for simulating the feedback sound only at a frequency band including the frequency detected by the howling frequency detector 6 and in the vicinity of the frequency.
