PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and its processing method by which a color-conditioned motion picture quality can be stably displayed. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 10 implements the following operations of; performing control by a control signal 46 output from a CPU 16, inputting present frame image data 36 to a correction object detector 38 of a signal processor 14, retrieving past correction target information 48 contained in a first correction information output from a memory of the CPU 16, detecting a correction object in the correction object detector 38 based on the past correction target information 48, detecting a correction object to calculate image correction information of the present frame image data 36 for serving as a second correction information according to the result detected, supplying image correction information 50 calculated to a digital processor 40, and correcting the present frame image by using at least one of parameters of a gradation sequence and color correction of the image correction information 50 in the digital processor 40.
