PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving a photographing efficiency by carrying out only required photographing. SOLUTION: A camera section 14 of a photographing apparatus 1 carries out tentative photographing under a plurality of photographing conditions, an image processing section 17 generates preview images in response to each of photographing conditions from photographed images obtained by the tentative photographing, displays the images on a slave picture of a display section 12, a user selects a preview image under a desired photographing condition among the preview images by using an entry section 13, and when the user instructs photographing, the camera section 14 carries out main photographing under the photographing condition.
