PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater wire in which production efficiency and workability can be improved. SOLUTION: One exothermic wire 10, one return wire 20, and one detection wire 30 are stranded and bundled up into a three strand wire, and insulation sheath 40 is formed around the bundle so as to have cross-sectionally round profile shape as a whole. Electric current with the same amperage is made to flow through the exothermic wire and the return wire, but electric current with reverse direction for return wire to suppress leakage of electromagnetic wave. Abnormality is detected by detection wire 30. Production efficiency is improved because conventional serial processes are eliminated, and as a result, three or more electric wires are stranded and bundled up.
