PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-proportional control unit in a control system having a long cycle time of a time-proportional output, capable of obtaining a control result of a good response characteristic by varying the time-proportional output with good traceability, even when an operation quantity MV of the control system greatly varies. SOLUTION: The time-proportional control unit generates a time-proportional output to control a control object state by synchronizing with a predetermined period depending on a deviation between a control target value to a control object and a value indicating the state of the above control object. In the above time-proportional control unit, particularly when the above control target value is modified, the generation timing of the above time-proportional output is reset, and also, the time-proportional output is newly generated in synchronization with the above reset timing.
