PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit for an image display medium that can prevent picture quality from deteriorating by stabilizing an output voltage. SOLUTION: A reset power source 60 is equipped with a transformer 64, a reference voltage power source 62 is connected to a primary-side coil 64A of the transformer 64, and a first capacitor 66 and a second capacitor 68 which are connected in series are connected to a secondary-side coil 64B of the transformer 64. The midpoint of the secondary-side coil 64B is connected between the first capacitor 66 and second capacitor 68 and grounded on the primary side of the transformer 64 in common to the minus side of the reference voltage power source 63. The voltage outputted from the side of a first switch 70 is applied to row electrodes of the image display medium 10 by a driving circuit 45 and the voltage outputted from the side of a second switch 72 is applied to column electrodes of the image display medium 10 by the driving circuit 45.
