PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable capable of more easily performing a disassembling operation than the conventional one in the case that a longitudinally attached intermediate layer is employed. SOLUTION: The optical fiber cable is composed of a slot 3 having an optical fiber housing groove 2 on the outer circumferential face, an optical fiber 1 housed in the optical fiber housing groove 2, an intermediate layer 4 covering the slot 3 by being longitudinally attached to the slot 3, a press-wrapping tape 5 spirally wound with spaces apart on the intermediate layer 4, and a sheath 6 covering the slot 3 from above the press-wrapping tape 5, wherein the press-wrapping tape 5 and the sheath 6 are stuck to each other in the structure.
