PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the necessity of positioning between nozzle plate in the nozzle plates included in an ink jet head which is four inches or more. SOLUTION: A plurality of nozzles 8 which discharge ink are formed on the nozzle plate 30. The length of the range in which the plurality of nozzles along the main scanning direction of the nozzle plate 30 is four inches or more. The nozzle plate 30 comprises one stainless-steel sheet.
