The linear guide has a lubricating device (5) fitted at the ends of a carriage for the guide. The lubricating device has a housing (6), a lubricating unit (7), magnets (8) and metal magnetic elements (9). By magnetic attraction, in the magnets are held on to the magnetic elements or rail (2), keeping the lubricating unit activated.
