An additive comprising at least one member selected from arginine, trometamol, meglumine, lysine, histidine, monoethanolamine, diethanolamine, triethanolamine, succinic acid, citric acid, tartaric acid, lactic acid and salts thereof. The additive can prevent microparticles of a complex composed of a nucleic acid molecule and collagen from coagulation and is useful for the production of a preparation comprising particles of a complex which has a controlled particle size and is suitable for transport of a nucleic acid.
