A drawing image data creating device for efficiently creating drawing image data used for drawing an image on a recording medium placed on a drawing table and undergoing a positional shift. Original image data partially acquiring means (10) acquires original image data portions (F1.1,...)corresponding to drawing area parts (K1.1,...) of the recording medium (1) and having marginal areas used for the drawing from original image data (F) used for drawing the image on a recording area (So) on a recording medium (1) placed at a predetermined position on a drawing table (114). Position changing means (35) subjects the original image data portions (F1.1,...) to position change corresponding to the positional shift amount d and thereby obtains converted image data portions (G1.1,...) so as to record the image on the recording area (So) of the recording medium (1) where the positional shift occurs. Drawing data creating means (40) creates drawing image data portions (F'1.1,...) corresponding to the drawing area parts (K1.1,...) and used for drawing the image.
