<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for allowing a server to manage or control the number of times that a document distributed to a client is printed. <P>SOLUTION: A print system comprises a server having a means for distributing to a client document data having embedded therein the URI of data that it is desired to manage in a unified fashion; a client having a means for sending the document data distributed from the server to a printer; and a printer having a means for interpreting the URI contained in the document data received from the client, pulling the data out of the URI, merging the data with the document data, and printing the document data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
