<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for processing images, which may display an entity object in conjunction with a virtual object. <P>SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus according to the present invention, which changes a pattern for the virtual object, in conjunction with a movement of the entity object, comprising a detection unit 110 for detecting changes, which may detect time-based variations for the entity object shot by a camera device; and a display control unit 120, which selects and reads an active pattern from a storage 122 for storing the active patterns, based on an event caused by image state change.
