<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To read a two-dimensional code, and to surely restore the original data. <P>SOLUTION: The two-dimensional code, such as a dot code 170, include at least a data area in which data are arranged two-dimensionally, a plurality of markers which are arranged in a predetermined positional relation, relating to the data area and arranged spaced apart from each other two-dimensionally for detecting the position of the two-dimensional code, and a block address, for example, that is the information arranged between the markers for restoring the data from the data area. A detection section 184 images the two-dimensional code. A marker detecting section 216 detects at least the two markers from an image on a screen, including the imaged two-dimensional code. A block address detecting/error determination/accurate center detecting section 300 detects the information detected between the detected two markers.
